We are constantly adding to the range of books in the Primary School library, and several children’s’ magazines. The books are largely in English, which is MCS School language of instruction, but we also actively collect Hindi and English Language books and magazines and books in home languages of the student population. According to the research, reading strategies and skills in a home language will transfer to the student’s reading strategies and skills in English.
The school library provides service to students in Nursery to Grade 5 and the broader MCS community, who want to borrow books in English, Hindi or home languages of the MCS School community.
